NeetMeat DevLog - Day 4
Holy moly, four days gone quicker than we thought.
So, like I wrote in our devLog we decided to make an complete overhaul of the art work. Alex invested six hours in creating our new art work, including a building, zombies + animation, our main character (and a car to get rid of that excuse of a car I draw). Overall our art style was now a lot cuter and smaller, but most importantly, less detailed. But we also admit that Alex may copy some other game arts here and there for the sake of getting it done.
I on the programmers side had a other task to tackle: Coding the animation, implementing all the sprites, adjusting the hitboxes, including new car models and stuff in the world builder scripts. And in between I had to go for two hours to play a Rocket League Tournement with my amateur team. But at 11:30 pm it was all done. The new art work was ready, the hitboxes were all adjusted, heck even the animations were working! And I implemented a system of graveyards that will spawn zombies for me! Holy cow! Day 4 was the most stressful day, but finishing the build and showed it to the others was a blast!
