NeetMeat DevLog - Day 5


The end is near! Day 5 of our seven day journey!

Today was another productive day! A bit of new artwork was done by Alex today. We have a cannon for level progression, more buildings (which I didn't implemented yet) and other fun stuff I don't want to spoil ;)

I finally finished the game loop (I know, a bit late on day 5), but hey I spend one hour today to write the whole devLog of the last 4 days!
So now there is a losing and a winning condition, but the winning condition is not really winning since you just cycle through two different generated levels which get a bit harder each time. 

Oh and a really important feature that one of my game testers recommend me was to make buildings transparent as soon as something is
behind it. Done!

On the other hand... A lot of bugs and unpolished features were implemented today. There is a lot to repair and polish in the next two days and tomorrow could be an all-nighter with finally having a "real" winning condition in the form of a boss fight and a item system which makes the player stronger during a run (like in The Binding of Isaac).
